Shared Responsibility in the Urban Growth Areas
Planning for population distribution, service delivery, and transition of governance within Kitsap’s Urban Growth Areas is an important area of concern for the Kitsap Regional Coordination Council. In 2002, the Regional Council facilitated a Revenue Sharing Interlocal Agreement among Kitsap County and the Cities of Bremerton, Poulsbo and Port Orchard. During 2009-2010 those Cities and the County are working through the Regional Council to review that Agreement and negotiate a broader successor Agreement. A multi-jurisdictional team is spearheading that work. 2002 Revenue Sharing Interlocal Agreement 2010 Revenue Sharing Team Roster |
