In 2004, 2005, and 2007 the Collaborative Strategies Program sponsored a one day Kitsap Local Government Forum, with approximately 100 participants, for elected officials and senior staff from all of Kitsap's public agencies. The Forums offered unique opportunities for workshops, round-table discussions, brainstorming sessions, and inter-agency networking, all focused on increasing partnership and collaboration among the local jurisdictions. Key ideas that emerged from the Forums were incorporated into the Collaborative Strategies Program, such as Health Care & Human Resources (2006-7) and the Kit~Net (2006 forward).
