The Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council is responsible for three grant programs that provide funding for low income housing in Kitsap County. This Chart shows the primary sources of capital subsidized housing funding for Kitsap County.


Community Development Block Grant Program

The Council is the decision-making Board for the federal Community Development Block Grant Program (countywide except the City of Bremerton, which operates its own program). The CDBG Program provides grants to support low income housing and community services.

Affordable Housing for All Grant Program

(AHFA)

(Formerly called the 2060 Low-Income Housing Grant Program)


The Council collaborates with Kitsap's Continuum of Care Coalition in setting priorities for the State Recording Fee Surcharge 'Affordable Housing For All' Grant Program. The Council Board is the decision-making Board for this program.

(HHAA)

(Formerly called the 2163 Homeless Housing Grant Program)



							

The Council collaborates with Kitsap's Continuum of Care Coalition in setting priorities for the State Recording Fee Surcharge Homeless Housing Assistance Act Grant Program, formerly called the (2163) Homeless Housing Grant Program. The Council Board is the decision-making Board for this program. This is a recently-established program (based on 2005 WA State legislation).
